The Turin court resembled a test track as Daniil Medvedev rocked the radar gun.

Medvedev revved up serves in excess of 130 mph powering past buddy Andrey Rublev 6-4, 6-2 in his ATP Finals round-robin opener tonight.

Afterward, Medvedev shared his vision for life after tennis.

When all is said and done, Medvedev dreams of trading his Tecnifibre for a Turbocharger pursuing a post-tennis career as an amateur race car driver.

“But what I for sure will try to do, depends how my life goes, but I will try to be an amateur racing driver. That’s my dream,” Medvedev told the media in Turin. “For sure I cannot go professional anywhere.

“But some like Ferrari Challenge or whatever, where you pay money and you race throughout the whole year on the best tracks of the world, this I’m going to do with some of my friends.”

Champions ranging from David Nalbandian to Emma Raducanu have pursued their passion for auto racing.

The son of a computer engineer, Medvedev was a math whiz at school and speaks three languages fluently. Medvedev said he likes to try different things and can envision himself exploring life as a tennis television analyst or coach before settling into the driver’s seat when his playing days are done.

“I will have to try many things after my career to see what I like because I want to do something I like,” Medvedev said. “I think commentator could be something I can try.

“I don’t know if I’m going to like it. If I’m not going to like it, I’m going to say, Okay, I don’t do it. Same about coaching. I don’t know if I could be a good coach, but I would like to try it one day.”
