Rebecca Sramkova was in no mood for a consolation prize today.
A week after she was runner-up in Monastir, the 27-year-old Sramkova charged to her first career title in Hua Hin.

World No. 102 Sramkova defeated Laura Siegemund 6-4, 6-4 to win the Thailand Open title in Hua Hin.
The Bratislava-born baseliner scored her ninth victory in her last 10 matches.
Sramkova’s breakthrough triumph came one week after she lost to British qualifier Sonay Kartal 6-3, 7-5 in the Monastir final.
Today, Sramkova broke Siegemund’s serve four times in a one hour, 56-minute victory.
